Laying the first stone

On Friday, 25 February 2005, the first symbolic stone was laid in the new building adjacent to the existing business building of Nordmann Einrichtungen Furniture. This action was performed by the family heir Sven Schakel. Of course he was assisted by his grandfather Willem and father Michael Schakel, while the great-grandfather of Sven made sure that this memorable event was forever recorded with a picture of these 4 generations of Schakel.

Alderman Allard Fledderus was speaking for the city of Barneveld and mentioned the enormous growth of Nordmann Einrichtungen Furniture over the last ten years.
